Job Description
An NIH funded postdoctoral position is open in the laboratory of Roger Bannister at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.
The successful candidate willutilize heterologous systems and rodent models to study how altered CaVchannel function contributes to muscle atrophy and the loss of motor units in aging and neuromuscular disease (e.g., amyotrophic lateral sclerosis).
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree, with less than five years of postdoctoral experience.
The ideal candidate should have a relevant technical expertise and strong communication and writing skills.
This position is funded and projected to begin in September 2019 or shortly thereafter.
